Paris metro is one of the world's densest Metro networks, which has 16 lines (Lines No. 1 to No. 14 and two minor lines, 3bis and 7bis) and run to 214 km in length.

Along with Marseille, Le Havre, and Dunkerque, Paris is also one of the most important ports in France.
