Oktoberfest is the largest beer festival in the world with more than 6 million people attending the 16 day event every year. It is held from late September till first weekend of October each year in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
Hosted on the Cannstatter Wasen in the Bad Canstatt district of Stuttgart, Cannstatter Volksfest is the second largest beer festival in Germany. It is very similar to Oktoberfest and starts a week later than Oktoberfest.
