According to this article published in The Guardian these are the best beaches in Spain chosen by the readers:
- Best beaches in Andalucia:
Zahara de los Atunes, El Palmar Beach and Santa Maria del Mar in Cadiz. Salobrena and Sanlucar de Barrameda Beaches.
-Best Beaches in Asturias:
Poo Beach (yes, you have read well) in Llanes. Playa del Silencio in the north-west of Oviedo.
Best beach in Cantabria:
Playa de Valdearenas in Santander.
Best beaches in Catalonia:
Aigua Blava and Sitges and Garraf.
Best beach in the Basque Country:
Playa de la Concha in San Sebastian.
Balearic Islands:

Best beaches in Galicia:
Playa de las Rodas in the Islas Cies (Cies Islands) and Playa de las Catedrales in Ribadeo.
These beaches have been chosen following personal preferences of the readers. If you want the opinion of an expert in travel there is another Guardian article in which the Top 10 beaches in the World are chosen. The number 1 beach in this article is the Playa de las Rodas in the National Park of the Cies Islands in Galicia, north of Spain.
This beach is in an island close to the town of Baiona and can only be reached by boat (40 minutes trip) and it can only be visited during summertime. Its waters are clear and blue turquoise, its sand is white as in the Caribbean and there is a shop and a restaurant serving the specialty of the area: seafood. One thing not to forget is that the island is located in the Atlantic Sea, North of Spain, its waters can be very cold! For more info about this Spanish beach please visit this link.
