Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "I need a coffee break" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: na-neun hyusik sigan-i pilyo-hae (나는 휴식 시간이 필요해)
  • Formal: jeo-neun hyusik sigan-i pilyo-hae (저는 휴식 시간이 필요해요), jeo-neun hyusik sigan-i pilyo-hapnida (저는 휴식 시간이 필요햡니다)
  • Very Formal: jeo-neun hyusik sigan-i pilyo-hapnida (저는 휴식 시간이 필요햡니다)

- I: na-neun (나는), jeo-neun (저는)
- to need: pilyo-hada (필요하다)
- coffee break: hyusik sigan (휴식 시간)
