The women’s Marathon is scheduled at 11am on 05/08/2012 (Sunday), and the men’s event is scheduled at 11am on 12/08/2012 (Sunday).

You do not need tickets to stand along the vast stretches of the Marathon route to watch the events, but you need to secure a good spot well in advance as the route will be packed with many passionate fans. Here is a route map that may help you to find a spot that you like. You can also use the Estimated runner times to find the times at which runners are expected to pass various points, e.g. Trafalgar Square, St Paul’s Cathedral, Bank and etc.
