Primary custody was awarded to Tom Cruise's wife, Katie Holmes. Cruise has been granted visitation rights; it's not yet been said exactly what the arrangements are, but it seems that he will be able to visit his daughter regularly and have her to stay.

Cruise has been awarded the house in Beverley Hills where he and all his family lived before the divorce. He will now stay there with his older children, Connor and Isabella, while Holmes is planning to live in New York with Suri. Cruise is said to be looking for another house in New York too, somewhere private where he can easily visit Suri and can also have her to visit him.

The divorce settlement was made quite quickly - it was all over in a matter of weeks - and the publicity sent out by both parents has said that they are having an amicable divorce and intend for both of them to be very much involved with Suri. The question of which faith she will be raised in has not yet been answered.
