There have been rumours for some time that One Direction are going to break up. The most recent story is that Harry Styles is leaving the band under pressure from his girlfriend Taylor Swift, as reported here. According to this story the other members feel that Harry is no longer taking the band seriously and can't be relied on any more.
However, that was two weeks ago and no official break-up has been reported. In fact since then JLS have split up, and all the members of One Direction publicly expressed their sympathy and good wishes for JLS, without any hint that they were about to make a similar announcement themselves. So it is possible that they have managed to resolve their differences.
On the other hand, the rumours have been very persistent, so don't be surprised if one day in the next few weeks or months we hear that they are breaking up for real.
