As of 4th July 2012, Scottish tennis player Andy Murray has been through to the Wimbledon semi-finals on four consecutive occasions since 2009.

Murray's first Wimbledon tournament was in 2005 where he was given a wild card entry. Although ranked 312, he managed to reach the third round before losing to David Nalbandian with five sets (7–6, 6–1, 0–6, 4–6, 1–6).

In 2006, Murray managed to reach the fourth round before being defeated by Marcos Baghdatis. He missed Wimbledon 2007 and in the following year, he reached quarterfinal.
