You're quite right - you can see two statues of liberty in Paris. They are smaller than the famous figure in New York (though of course the American Statue of Liberty was also designed by a French sculptor in France). The two Paris replicas can be found in the Luxembourg Gardens and the Ile des Cygnes (in the River Seine). You can find more information about them here.

The Luxembourg Gardens statue is about the size of a real person, but the one in the Seine is much larger. There is also a third liberty statue, which can be found in the town of Colmar in Alsace (near the German border with France), This is the home town of Frederic Bartholdi, who designed the original statue in the 19th century.

The real name of the statue is 'Liberty enlightening the world' and it was given to America by France as a gesture of friendship.
