Menorca, or Minorca, is an island of the Balearics in the Mediterranean Sea, Spain. The best time to visit this island is definitely during the spring and summer time.This is from late May to late September/early October.
The temperature in the island varies from an average of 20°C in June to 25°C in June/July to a peak of 28°C during August. This latter month can be very hot for some people, but it is the ideal weather to go to the beach and swim in the clear waters of the Mediterranean.
Temperatures become milder during September, dropping again to 20°C in October.
Autumn in Menorca is mild and wet and during winter the temperatures vary from 7°C to 13°C, sometimes with heavy showers.
Remember as well that Menorca is a very windy place throughout the year and especially in winter, the wind known as Tramuntana makes the weather so unpredictable that it is possible to experience several weather changes within the same day.
