The highest waterfall in the word is 'Salto del Angel' (Angel Falls) in Venezuela.
It has a height of 979m. (3.212 ft) its plunge has 807 m. (2.648 ft).
It is situated over the mountain of Auyantepui, in the National Park of Canaima.
The water lands over the Kerep river, an affluent of the Churun River.
Even though the access to the Salto del Angel Fallas is complicated and you have to go across the jungle at some points, it is one of the top touristic attractions of Venezuela.
