If you type 'english nursery rhymes apps' in a search engine you will find a number of examples. One of the most highly recommended can be found here - it has nearly 30 rhymes and songs, with a nice mix of real traditional nursery rhymes like London Bridge and Baa Baa Black Sheep, and more modern favourites like the Alphabet Song. It's very popular with both parents and children.

If you click here you will find a wider selection, including songs, lullabies and bedtime stories as well as nursery rhymes. You can even get some rhymes in other languages including French - at a very young age children do pick up foreign languages very easily.

If you want a free and popular option you can also listen to the BBC school radio service with your child. This has all kinds of entertainment to choose from including a lot of nursery rhymes.
