How about this for an expensive dustbin then:

The Automated Transfer Vehicle or ATV spacecraft Edoardo Amaldi which has been used for around 4 years to transport essential supplies to the International Space Station made its last delivery and was then filled with waste from the orbiting micro-gravity lab.

It undocked from the ISS during the night of 25/26 September 2012, and made its last and very final journey. The Edoardo Amaldi was commanded to perform a controlled destructive reentry high over an uninhabited area of the South Pacific. The heat generated by the crafts re-entry vaporised the craft and its contents.

And the cost? Ignoring the development cost of the ATV type vehicle of around €1.35 billion and the launch and fuel costs, each ATV spacecraft costs about US$300 million.

There may well be a new answer to this question, but as far as I know the most expensive dustbins in the world were created in 2009 by pop artist Sylvie Fleury from Switzerland. These went on sale at a maximum of $15,000 (about £10,000) and are made of steel with gold leaf coating. You can see an example here. She has also created some gold-plated waste-paper baskets for a similar price.
If you're looking at 'real' dustbins, ie created to be used rather than for artistic purposes, there is an Italian recycling bin by Ovetto that costs £159, which seems quite a lot to pay for a bin. Other recycling bins can cost even more, but the very expensive ones are more like recycling units, with detachable sections, like this one by Franke. On the whole it looks as if Fleury's record isn't going to be broken any time soon.
