Gay Marriage or Same-Sex Marriage is allowed in the following 10 countries:
-Argentina
-Belgium
-Canada
-Iceland
-Netherlands
-Norway
-Portugal
-Spain
-South Africa
-Sweden
Gay marriage is also performed and legally recognized in some parts of the USA, in Mexico City and in the state of Alagoas in Brazil.
In 2001, the Netherlands become the first country in the world in which people of the same sex were able to marry.
