Dr. No (1962) is the first James Bond film starring Scottish actor Sean Connery. Based on the 1958 Ian Fleming novel - Dr. No, the film was directed by Terence Young. Ursula Andress played the first Bond girl Honey Ryder.

In total, Sean Connery starred in seven of the James Bond movies: Dr. No (1962), From Russia with Love (1963), Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965), You Only Live Twice (1967), Diamonds Are Forever (1971) and Never Say Never Again (1983).
