Question

We had a Ryder style tournament at our 2 companies. During match a player conceded the whole. Rather than just picking up his ball our player put but missed the put just as a practice shot. Since the whole was already conceded, does the putt count or should the player lose the whole as a result of the shot?

If the player had already conceded, that would have been the end, no matter what happened afterwards. Once you have conceded a putt you can't withdraw it (unless your withdrawal was based on wrong information that your opponent gave you), and it doesn't make any difference even if the opponent is willing to let you withdraw it. So your player won.
You can also go to this site and if you scroll down you will come to a 'questions' section so you can put your question directly to a golfing expert for a more detailed answer.
Hope this helps.
