Torrevieja is a touristic town near Alicante in the South-East of Spain.
In Autumn the town is very quiet compared to the summer months, however the weather should still be warm and you can enjoy the sunshine in the beaches and even a good swim.
Other things that you can do is to have a nice long walk in the seaside promenades or visit the Museum of the Sea and the Salt or other temporary exhibitions displayed in the local galleries.
Gastronomy is also very good in the area, some personal favourites are:

-Restaurante El Muelle, try eating in the terrace in the promenade if the weather is nice, it's an italian restaurant but they cook meat really well

-Restaurante Bahia, good restaurant for fish and seafood
