Spain is a favourite destination for many tourists, especially British, who find its sunny mediterranean beaches very attractive to escape the dull, grey weather.

-In a Spanish restaurant, you must say first "una mesa para dos/tres/cuatro" (a table for two/three/four) depending on the number of people.

-In some restaurants, you may also go directly to the table, have a seat and ask: "me trae el menu por favor?"

-Then, once you have decided what you want to eat, you may say: "de primero tomare/tomaremos... y de segundo.......Para beber un/una......para mi y un/una para el/ella" (first we will have.....and after that we will have. we would like to drink a......for me and a.......for him/her).

-Finally, you may want to order some dessert ("la carta de postres por favor"), and a coffee ("un cortado, un cafe solo") and then the bill, ("la cuenta por favor").
