Sjogren's syndrome is a disease in which the immune system attacks its own healthy tissues. There are over four million people in the US have this condition, among which 90% are women.

Sjogren's syndrome, one of the most prevalent autoimmune disorders, is often triggered by an infection. The most common symptoms include dryness in the mouth and eyes, joint and muscle inflammation and fatigue.
