Glass-topped hobs are getting more and more popular because they are not just more stylish, but are easier to clean comparing gas hobs.

Wipe the hob with a soapy or damp cloth after every use. If a spill is sugar based, you need to turn off the heat immediately, remove the pan and wipe the glass surface before continuing.

Give the hob a thorough clean once a week. You can use a specialist hob cleaner followed by a special glass conditioner. Always check the manufacturer's instructions as some chemicals may damage the glass surface or its ability to radiate heat.
