Who designed the logo of London 2012 Olympics?

The Logo used during the 2012 Olympics was designed by Wolff Olins and unveiled in 2007. Prior to that their was an Olympic 2012 logo used for the bidding process, this was designed by Kino Design.









The familiar logo has four base variants, essentially different colourways, and a special variant for the ParaOlympics.












It does not cause epileptic fits as the Sun newspaper once claimed.

The logo for London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games are designed by a London based brand consultancy called Wolff Olins. The design costed £400,000 was unveiled in June 2007 and 80% of the public hated the design according to a BBC poll.

There is another London 2012 logo which is less known as it is used for the bidding process. The bidding logo was created by Kino Design, a London based design agency.
