Excessive sun exposure will damage our skin, and it is important to use sunscreens to protect the skin against UV rays. Sunscreens can be divided into chemical sunscreens and physical sunscreens.

Chemical sunscreens convert light radiation to heat by absorbing UV rays. 80% of the sunscreens on the market are chemical ones.

Physical sunscreens contain micro reflective particles which can reflect the light away to minimize the damage.

While the chemical sunscreens can cause heat rash to sensitive skins, the physical sunscreens tend to leave white patch. Some sunscreens contain both chemical and physical ingredients to work the best.
