Why might I be tested for HPV?

Generally, there are two cases that you might be tested for HPV (Human Papilloma Virus).
1) If your cervical screen result shows mild abnormalities, you need a HPV test.
2) If you had received treatment for cervical abnormalities (CIN), you need a HPV test.
