Justin Timberlake has been singing as long as he can remember, having been raised in a Baptist family where singing in church and at religious gatherings was the norm. However, his first appearance as a professional singer was at the age of 11. In 1992 he appeared on TV for the first time, in a talent show called Star Search. He used the name Justin Randall (Randall is his middle name) and sange several country songs there.
Two years later he appeared in The Mickey Mouse club, where he met Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. He also met JC Chasez, with whom he would soon continue his career; in 1995, when Timberlake was 14, the two were in a boy band together which would later become 'N Sync, the band that made Timberlake famous. By the end of 1998 the band had sold millions of records, and Justin Timberlake has remained in the public eye ever since both as a singer and actor.
