How fast does human hair grow?

The average is about 1.25 cm or half an inch a month. This is only a very general figure, as individuals vary greatly. Of course, most hair growth takes place beneath the skin of the scalp, where you can't see it. This growth, while the hair is still alive, takes several years. The growth we can see is just the end of the process.

There are a lot of products that claim to make hair grow faster, but they can't really affect the speed because this is determined much earlier at the cellular level, and hair products can only affect the hair after it appears on the scalp. However, using a good shampoo and conditioner, as well as eating a balanced diet, can certainly improve the strength and shine of your hair.

You can find some tips for healthy hair here - but they won't make it grow faster.
