Justin Timberlake's first film role was in Edison Force, released in 2004.
In this film, which stars Morgan Freeman and Kevin Bacon, he plays a journalist
who uncovers corruption in a city's police force. The movie wasn't very well
reviewed and went straight to video in 2006.

After this Timberlake appeared in several other films, including Alpha Dog and
Southland Tales, and did a voiceover for the third Shrek film (as Prince
Artie). He then went back to music only for some years, returning to acting in
2010 when he took the role of the Napster founder in the hugely successful film
The Social Network. Since then he has starred in the flm Bad Teacher and
performed in another hit, Friends with Benefits. A recent film is the Science fiction thriller, In Time. He has also made a number of videos and one-off appearances.
