How can I find career opportunities?

It sounds like you don't have any special kind of job in mind - you are just looking for somewhere to start, right? In that case, you should start with the basics:
See what's available in the job centre or your local newspaper. You can start in any job; it doesn't have to be for life, and whatever you do, it will give you skills that make you more employable.

Get all the advice you can. Try free careers advice sites and also whatever else is available to you - if you're at school or college there will be a careers service, if not your local job centre should be able to suggest something.

If you find a company or organization you would like to work for, don't wait to hear of a vacancy but contact them. Sell yourself - stress all the things you can do for them.

Make sure your CV is always up to date and looks good.
