70 percent of pregnant women have pregnancy sickness, which usually occurs in the morning. The sickness is one of the first symtoms of pregnancy, and can get better at around 14 week pregnancy. However, some can have sickness throughout the whole pregnancy.

Eating fresh ginger can reduce the sickness. You can make a hot drink with grated root ginger, honey, suger or lemon juice. You can also try non-alcoholic ginger beer or ginger biscuits. Sometimes nausea is caused by lack of Vitamin B6, so check with your doctor to see if you need any vitamin supplements. Please do not take any medicine or supplements without consulting your doctor.

If your sickness still does not improve, and makes you uncomfortable, you can try acupuncture from a qualified practitioner, wear acupressure bands, or try some safe aromatherapy.

It also helps if you try to avoid food that has strong smelling scents, and try to get more sleep and relax whenever you can.

If you are vomiting, its very important to drink plenty of water, fresh juice to avoid dehydration.

Interestingly, it is found that women who suffer nausea and vomiting have less chance to get miscarriage. So feel blessed about your morning sickness!
