How do I cope a quarter life crisis?

The quarter-life crisis is usually the time around the early or mid-twenties when we feel confused, a bit overwhelmed by life and unsure about where to go next. I think a big cause is that, in modern wealthy countries, many people are protected from a lot of life's problems until this age; you've often been studying or travelling or being helped by your parents, and it's only now that you find yourself grappling with things like debt, trying to get a permanent home, settling down to a career etc.

In other words - there isn't really a crisis, it's just adjusting to a new phase. This is the time to start getting a real sense of who you are and what you want. Take stock of the skills and experience you've acquired, relish this great time of life when you have both youthful energy and a grown-up personality, make a list of the things you'd like to achieve by the age of 40 and get on with enjoying your life! Good luck.
