It is not hygiene to use a dirty comb. To keep combes clean, you need to wash them at least once a month.

• Prepare a bowl of luke warm water
• Add a dash of washing up liquid into the bowl
• Soak the comb in the water for 10 minutes or more if it has not been cleaned for a while
• Use a nailbrush or other small scrubbing brush to clean the dirts between the teeth of the comb
• Rinse the comb by placing it under a running tap
• Shake the combs to get rid of excess water
• Leave the combs to dry
